New House

Sorry no pictures with this post. We have been in our house for a little over a week at this point. We are in the process of trying to get a few things done before we post pictures.

We had wall paper in the kitchen, both bathrooms, and the master bedroom. We got all excited when we got the kitchen wall paper off completely in less than an hour without any elbow grease. The other three rooms not so lucky. We are trying to live and work at the same time. Currently we have the wall paper off in 3 rooms.

I paint Brooklyn's room up to about 3 or 4 inches from the ceiling. Brad still has to finish that room. The problem is that he is still working. He only gets a couple of weeks off in July. So, until then we only have the weekends and we have regular household chores to do.

We are unpacked for the most part. We have some stuff that we want to unpack up, hang up, and or use but we are waiting until we get the other rooms finished. We are also getting new livingroom furniture the first of July. We ordered it a couple of weeks ago so it will also mean readjusting again things again. I just hope we can get everything finished before we have another kiddo.

Oh, and our yard situation. We have about 2 acers and our yards are huge and basically pasture. We started our grass growing process too. Brad found a place about an hour away that sold grass over 150 a pallet cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot. So we got 2 pallets to start our backyard with. It didn't cover the entire yard, but it covered about a third of it. When I say yard, I mean the part that if fenced for yard.

So we have been busy and will stay busy for a while.
